Fam trip in Western Sicily
Today we tell you about our latest Fam trip in Western Sicily: we were invited by HNH Hotels and Almar Giardino di Costanza Resort to discover the beauty of Mazzara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani. We have to thank Andrea Bontà | Business Development Manager Corporate & MICE Market at HNH Hospitality, Elena Fontana, Cluster Sales Manager | Almar Resorts, and Alberto Quinci, Resort Manager | Almar Giardino di Costanza for the incredible welcome.
Every time we come back from Sicily we are full of new ideas for your next enquiry.
Almar Giardino di Costanza
This 5-star resort is located in one of the most authentic and traditional areas of Sicily: between between stretches of vineyards and olive groves, paradisiacal beaches and nature reserve and historic towns of the past, Almar is the emblem of the art of Sicilian hospitality. The Resident Manager of the resort, Alberto Quinci allowed us to discover the potential of this location and here’s what we loved: the extreme attention to the needs of guests, the genuine smiles of the staff, the quality of the services offered and the attention to detail, the elegance of the environments and the strategic position that allows you to easily reach nearby destinations of interest. If you are planning an event in Sicily this will definitely be a location that we will propose!
An ancient eighteenth-century Baglio, always been intended for hospitality and the cultivation of grapes and agricultural products, that over the years has been the subject of a beautiful conservative renovation. The Baglio Aimone, with its 3000sqm of extension on a single floor, is located between the Integral Nature Reserve Lake Preola and Gorghi Tondi, or in an ideal land for the cultivation of grapes of rare excellence. A wonderful place where we were greeted in an unforgettable way by the Marino family, owner of the Baglio, who made us try the delicacies of Chef Angelo Bruno. The image below is really reductive experience dedicated to us, follow us on Instagram to get a more complete idea of the level of welcome.
"Those who really want to talk about salt pans, need to come here, in the west of Sicily...old, very old salt pans, already founded by the Phoenicians", Voltaire wrote it at the end of the '700 and we can only agree still today! You can not visit this side of Sicily without passing through the Saline: we admired one of the most beautiful sunsets in Sicily by Mamma Caura, an exclusive sunset-bar inside the Saline Ettore e Infersa built from a barracks of the 1930s. A natural stage without equal, thanks to its perfect sunset exposure! And of course we visited the Mill, symbol of the city of Marsala, fully functional!
